What your business may be eligible for
- STCs (systems up to 100kW) — Small-scale Technology Certificates, generally available for eligible systems and applied as an upfront discount on your invoice when assigned to us.
- LGCs (systems over 100kW) — Large-scale Generation Certificates can be created once the system is accredited as a power station with the Clean Energy Regulator; creating and selling them is a separate ongoing process we walk you through.
- Tax treatment — the investment may attract depreciation or other business tax benefits; this varies by business, so we recommend confirming with your accountant.
- State programs — Victorian business energy programs change over time; we check what's current at your assessment.

What size commercial solar system does my business need?
It depends on your daytime load, roof or ground space and your electricity tariff. Most small-to-medium businesses land between 30kW and 100kW; larger sites go well beyond. We size from your interval data where it is available, or from bill history and an on-site load survey where it isn't, so the system matches how your business really uses power.
What incentives apply to commercial solar?
Systems up to 100kW are generally eligible for Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs), which we apply as an upfront discount on your invoice when you assign them to us — eligibility depends on using approved products and an accredited installer. Systems over 100kW can create Large-scale Generation Certificates (LGCs) once accredited as a power station with the Clean Energy Regulator; creating and selling them is a separate ongoing process. Tax treatment of the investment varies by business, so we recommend confirming with your accountant. We check any current Victorian business programs at your assessment.

Will installation disrupt our operations?
We plan around your business. Roof work and cabling are scheduled to minimise disruption, and any required shutdown for the final connection is agreed with you in advance and kept as short as possible.
Does commercial solar need grid approval?
Yes — every grid-connected system needs pre-approval from your electricity distributor (DNSP). Above 30kW the process is more involved, and larger sites may need export limits, protection requirements or network studies. We manage the application and design to the conditions, and identify any additional cost before you commit.
